Visiting Kettle’s Yard

Kettle’s Yard is the University of Cambridge’s modern and contemporary art gallery. Kettle’s Yard is a beautiful house with a remarkable collection of modern art and a gallery that hosts modern and contemporary art exhibitions.

Kettle’s Yard is open Tuesday – Sunday, 11am – 5pm.

Please note we are closed on Bank Holiday Mondays.

We recommend you book a timed ticket to visit the house and the galleries. If the house is fully booked, you can still visit the exhibition by booking an exhibition only ticket. Pre-booking for the exhibition is recommended but you can also come along to the galleries on the day you wish to visit and book your visit at this time.

There will be walk-up tickets for the house available on a first come, first served basis. Please note, when buying house tickets at Kettle’s Yard, purchase is by card only.

The Friends of Kettle’s Yard have free admission to the Kettle’s Yard house. Find out more here.
