Three Questions
During the first lockdown Francesca Bertolotti-Bailey, Acting Head of Programme, invited artists that Kettle’s Yard has worked with in the past to offer their reflections on these exceptional times by answering three questions with a short video.
- What are the best of times now?
- What are the worst of times now?
- What would you like to hold on to that you have learnt in these times?

North South East West: Sarah Wood in conversation with Gareth Evans
To accompany Sarah Wood’s new film for Kettle’s Yard, Here is Elsewhere, we invited independent film curator and writer Gareth Evans to speak to Wood to discuss the film. You can download a transcript here.
Correspondence
Following the Here is Elsewhere commission, Wood has made a short film that brings together archive footage and imagery taken around the Cornish coastline to reflect on issues of care and responsibility in art, curating, and making art during lockdown. The scripted voiceover in Correspondence takes the form of a letter written by Wood to her fellow artist Alfred Wallis.
Correspondence lasts 7 minutes and 30 seconds.
